Ouch, hey that hurt!
I just got a cyber poke, a little reminder that there is at least someone out there reading this thing (congrats on the big news Jen!), and for that I am thankful.
I sometimes wonder if I was really meant to keep a blog going. When I read others' online postings, enjoying their funny incidents, crying with their losses and generally bringing their lives into mine, I get the feeling that I have just as much to say and my life is just as interesting. I love to write, I often drop pages of thoughts into a number of journals scattered around the house. And lord knows I have more than enough opinions for a team of lawyers, let alone one student. So why can't I commit to writing more often?
I'll admit part of it is my innate laziness. As type A as I can be, when the anal turns off, I am the most sloth like person alive. And being a particularly anal person, I often wonder if I am giving away too much information. Do I put myself at risk for any number of problems from weirdos out there. Watch a few episodes of Dateline, Primetime or 20/20 and you'll never want to look at your computer ever again, let alone buy something online.
But when I really think about it, I really like the idea that I can put my thoughts and ideas out there and that somewhere out there in a big wide world are a couple of people who think like me too! So my NEW YEARS RESOLUTION is to blog at least once a week in 2007.
